Emotional Eating Habits

What is your eating style..

- Healthy routine eater?

- Entertainment-Social eater?

- Impulse eater?

- Binge eater?

Healthy Routine Eaters: These people know what is good for their body.

This mindset knows that eating daily healthy nutritious food is so important.

🌸This eating style is having emotional balance, self control. Self-image is very important to them. They know that looking and feeling good mentally and physically gives them the daily inner well-being.They have a sense of self-worth.

Entertainment- Social Eaters : they eat for entertainment to feel good without necessarily having nutrition in mind. Frequent snacks, treats for themselves.

🌸This eating style is for giving themselves a pat on the back for praise and recognition. If they didn't get enough of this need! in their lives, they are subconsciously giving it to themselves.

Impulse Eaters: Eating without awareness, eating out of habit, how they feel in the moment. If food is there in front of them, they will eat it.

🌸This eating style is having no self control, they eat because they are checking out emotionally. Food is a way of coping emotionally.

Binge Eaters: Constantly binge eating, can't stop eating, or perhaps even over size meals.

🌸This eating style is intense, serious emotional issues. They have given up! Serious emotional issues need to be healed. They may also have self loathe issues. Perhaps even guilt or shame is a major factor here.

When eating is your primary emotional coping mechanism and the impulse is to eat whenever you’re feeling guilt, shame, stress, hurt, angry, lonely, or bored.. This means you are stuck in an unhealthy cycle where the real feelings or problems are never addressed. They are suppressed emotions.
