These are people who need constant love and attention. They are always charming and attentive when they have you under their spell, but the minute you start redirecting your attention or admiration toward others, the drama begins. They will find ways to redirect the attention back onto themselves. At first, this may come in the form of emotional sensitivity or neediness.

If these tactics don't work, they may even cause division between you and others by sabotaging your closeness with them in order to keep you close.

In the end, you become a servant to their constant need for love and attention. Eventually, you will feel exhausted and begin to withdraw from others just to keep the peace.
